Forgot that I had changed my Windows registry keys so that I could synch My Nokia with Notes 7 through PC Suite.
Same sort of issue here, I have clients still on 5, 6, 7 and now 8 so I have all four (actually a few more if you count client-designer-admin separately) clients "installed" on my machine, only...
I re-built my machine just before Notes 8 went Gold, so I am dealing with a "New - Clean" install of ND8.
The only thing in my registry is Notes 8. Windows doesn't even know about my other three Notes clients.
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lotus\Notes"
AND
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lotus\Notes\8.0"
Both NOW point to the current install.
Notes 5, 6 and 7 aren't "installed" on my laptop, I copied them from my desktop and just use short-cuts to fire them up.
Everything works fine (except I have to make sure that "eclipse" is running first).
Changing my registry keys back to point to Notes 8 paths did the trick.
Thanks again,
Mat
